Online Gamblers Not Wanting to Play Casino Games on Easter

Calgary based online casino news portal, onlinecasinosphere.com, has reported that the Easter Sunday holiday was reason for many online gamblers not to play casino games on the day of Jesus Christ’s’ resurrection. As the most attended church service throughout the year, it gave both online casino operators and players the chance to take a break from the world of online gambling, with very few people willing to play casino games until the day was up.

The site reported that according to previous stats, there is usually an 80 percent decrease in online gamblers choosing to play casino games in comparison with other Sundays throughout the year. Rick Pearson of a well known online casino in Gibraltar, confirmed that “Easter Day is actually worse for online casinos than Christmas, very few Christians will play online casino games on this day.” Pearson even joked that the online casino office becomes “like a ghost town”.

On the flip side, Pearson explained that Easter Sunday is also a day to relax and disconnect from the regular “hussle and bussle” of the spring holidays and constant poker tournaments that accompany them.

Similarly, in response to the decline in gamblers wanting to play casino games on this holy day, there is also a massive increase in the amount of bonuses and promotions on offer, as well as the size of the bonuses themselves.
