Online Casino Is Going Green

There’s no doubt that we’re in the middle of a worldwide “green revolution”. The environment issue has always been a controversial one, but it seems that during the last years, more and more people are starting to realize that if we don’t start caring about our own world, our children or grand children might not have a place to live in. Terms like “global warming” have become way more common lately and it shouldn’t come as a surprise, then, that even the online casino industry is starting to take a part in this battle against contamination. Euro Partners, for example, have decided to make their online casino, “Casino Del Rio”, the first online gambling site to promote environmental awareness.

As a part of that effort, the online casino has partnered with The New Green Group (NGG), a non-profit organization that helps businesses that want to be part of a sustainable solution on global environmental issues. As a start, the site has decided to plant a new tree for each and every new sign up. “We have gone through a major facelift” says David Alexander, VP of Marketing for Euro Partners. "In addition to our tree-planting policy, we've remodeled our facilities to include design features that help monitor energy-wastage and an extensive recycling program” added Alexander

While one online casino isn’t enough for the situation to change, we all hope that more sites and companies will follow Euro Partners’ way, in an effort to make our planet a better place to live in. Even if it seems just a small step, each action can really make a difference. After all, it’s not like we have another planet at our disposition - at least not for now
