Don't Count On Mainstream Media When It Comes To Online Gambling

Millions of people, all around the world, play each day at one of the thousands online casino sites available out there. It seems as this “hobby” is getting lately more and more popular and acceptable, yet for some reason, the mainstream media still doesn’t think so. As a matter of fact, most of the mainstream media misreports most of the news concerning the online gambling industry, giving many people the wrong idea about this industry. The reasons behind this may be various, but one of the most obvious is simply the fact that the reports writing about the online gambling industry don’t even have a clue about how this industry really works.

In contrary to other subjects, like politics, economics and sports, most of the reporters covering the online casino industry for the mainstream media don’t really have a clue about what they’re writing, as they just copy-and-paste the latest AP or Reuters feed. We are not saying here that those reports deliberately write bad things about the industry, as that’s not the case. Sometimes the news are positive, sometimes negative, but many times they are just false, or at least exaggerated.

What can we do about it ? Probably not much, but there’s at least one thing we can. Next time you want to get the latest online gambling news, don’t head up to one of those fancy media sites, but instead go to a respectable, trusty, online casino portal. Not only you’ll be receiving the news from a site that specializes in the subject you’re really looking for, but you’ll also receive much more accurate news
