Online Casino Giant Launches New Advertising

It may not come as a surprise to you that the competition all over the online casino industry just keeps getting tougher as time passes by. Not only new companies arise on almost a daily basis, but the new emerging markets, Europe and Asia, make it vital for the online gambling companies to do everything they can in order to attract new players. While some sites prefer to offer those players big prizes and bonuses, other companies opt for other option. 888.com, for example, one of the biggest online casino sites today, has recently decided to start a massive advertising campaign, hoping to reach that way to a wider audience.

The Gibraltar-based online gambling group, which chose the London advertising agency CHI & Partners, has decided to invest no less than GBP 6 million in this campaign – an unprecedented sum of money for the online casino industry. While not all the details were revealed, it seems as the campaign will include television, poster and taxi ads, all of them using the theme “enjoy the game”.

CHI, the agency in charge of this pretentious campaign, describes itself as “Big Ideas For Ambitious Brands” and specializes in big branding. Formed only in 2001, it already serves some of the UK’s biggest brands, such as British Gas, Britvic, Lexus, The Royal Bank of Scotland, Toyota GB & Toyota Europe and The Telegraph Group. The branding campaign is scheduled to start later this month and most chances are that if you live somewhere in the UK you’ll bump into it pretty soon.
