UK Casino & Sportsbetting Giant Makes Executive Changes

Leisure and Gaming Plc, a UK casino franchise focusing on online gambling and sports betting in the United Kingdom and Europe, has recently appointed a new Finance Director to replace Michal Baird. Richard Creed, aged 52, is the former Finance Director of BetonSports plc and a partner win Casson Beckman. Now an integral figure in Baker Tilly, he brings significant experience from the online gambling industry and corporate finance to the table. As such, he was the perfect candidate for the job opening.

According to Henry birch, the Chief Executive Officer of Leisure and Gaming Plc, Creed’s 25+ years of UK casino industry experience and corporate finance accountancy is expected to greatly benefit the company, and strengthen its management expertise. Michael Baird along with Benjamin Shaw, the ex non executive Director of Leisure and Gaming Plc, were responsible over the past 18 months for transforming the company, and Creed, including several others, have taken over to maintain these changes.

Benjamin Shaw has been replaced by Neil Craven, who is not only a shareholder in the UK casino company but boasts many years of experience in senior management roles related to fund management and telecommunications services. He is also a private investor and prefers to focus on small-cap equities.

The main operations of this UK casino giant consists of online gambling and sports betting via its pan-European shop Betshop.com, retail sports betting via Betshop Italia, and mobile and online soccer information services for gamblers via GoalsLive.com. In addition, it boasts the UK casino Acropolis.
