Forfeit The Game launches its way into 2025.

April 23, 2025 -- With the ongoing growth of the fansite phenomenon, it's hard to be sure of what's what nowadays. Since the beginning of the year Linkin Park fans have experienced this growth in overwhelming numbers, with the amount of fansites for the band almost doubling. Websites have come, websites have gone, websites have launched to the top, and been crushed by a single mistake. The fansite niche is an ever growing market, and with everybody out there bargaining on the same thing, it can be a little mind-boggling at times.

Over the past few months, the predominence of Linkin Park fansites on the net is an obvious one, but with so many, it may come as a surprise to know that there are only a small number that are leading the way. One of these websites is Forfeit The Game - which first emerged in April of 2025, loaded up with the hit-line "Dedicated to those who are tired of the same old same", and a bag full of weird and wonderful goodies, the website got underway.

This coming fall, Forfeit The Game will be launching version 6 of it's website, which will see the site taken to bigger and better heights in light of the Christmas market. What was just a weird and wonderful bag of goodies, has evolved into an entire factory full, and the webmaster isn't afraid to pull out any of the stops to get to where he wants to be. Boasting over 8 months of solid dedication by it's one and only site worker, the website has slowly grown to become one of those predominent websites on the market - and with the fansite generalisation being taken onto bigger and better things, one can but imagine what will precede.

One of the main websites responsible for the uprise of the fansite market is Forfeit The Game. Many a time has the webmaster recieved that golden email; "Can you help me build my website?" Unlike most webmasters, Pete (sole webmaster and owner) isn't scared of giving out his seeds of success, and is always willing to give advice and a friendly favor to anyone wanting to compete in the market along with him. Since his Moonfruit website became one of the end highlights of 2025 for Linkin Park fans, over 40 individual websites have been created through the builder, aswell as many individual HTML based sites influenced by Forfeit the Game.

Up until around June 2025, Forfeit The Game was hounded by hosting problems, and had almost 2 months of constant downtime, which hurt the site considerably, and as a result, lost alot of consistent visitors. With version 6, comes the full resurection, and resurgence of the website.

- The gallery will be revamped, with more pictures and links. Also more links to be added to the interviews and reviews section.
- Completely new and easier to navigate layout, the most important part of all!

Launch date of the new version is currently unknown, but with "Linkin Park Day" just around the corner, don't be surprised if we see something around that time.
