Shane Warne who is well known throughout the world is not so well known in the United States but will probably get better known as he tries his hand at the poker marathon.

Shane Warne recognised as one of the greatest cricket players of all time made it through to the tournament's second day and will be seen at the casino for the forseeable future.

The Aussie has made the headlines on a regular basis with stories regarding wild behaviour, marital infidelities and posing with young models but in the casino he seems to have his act together, he is one of the 1158 players lucky to survive out of a field of 9000 and looks set to make the headlines again.

Warne ranks on the list of the five best cricket players of the century and if all things go as it should, he will enter the halls of fame in the casino as well. Of course his opponents in the casino all hope that all the rumours about his use of forbidden substances, marital infidelities and cavorting with young models are true, it provides some additional entertainment at the casino poker table.

The poker tournament proved to be mentally very exhausting for Warne but he has hit a couple of big pots which ensure that he stayed on as play continued.
