New video slots games are released all the time, as the online casino software providers try to diverse and guess what could be the next hit among the players. One thing for sure, Microgaming's latest video slot game, launched this week, will definitely be a "hit" among online gamblers. The reason ? it's based on the widely popular video game "Hitman". This release follows a licensing deal with Eidos Interactive, a giant publisher of video and computer games, including the "Tomb Raider" series, "Commandos" and "Thief".
For those of you who have never before heard of this game, "Hitman" revolves around Agent 47 an assassin-for-hire, whose deadly skills and subtle methods place him in high demand amongst wealthy and powerful individuals who are looking to eliminate their opponents. The game, which belongs to the "thinking shooter genre", proved to be a huge success among players and saw the release of several versions for PC and other video game consoles, such as Xbox and Playstation 2. All of that certainly explains why Microgaming has decided to make an online casino slots variation of this popular game.
The video slots version of "Hitman" will be a 15-line, 3 reel, multi level game, full of scatters, bonuses and free spins. "Hitman is something really special, so obviously we are delighted to have struck this deal" says Roger Raatgever, CEO of Microgaming. In fact, their decision to acquire this license might prove even more rewarding, taking into account the fact that a "Hitman" movie is scheduled to be released in April this year, making the franchise even more attractive.
